Back in Wales

Hi All
Greetings once again from a not so sunny South Wales. Arrived back pretty much on time, about 11pm local time. Have now had a night's sleep, after a beer with my husband to celebrate my return. The mail has been sorted, I have spoken to the olds and now have to tackle the unpacking. Not raining so it's not all bad. New Year's Day weather is looking good so we will take a walk, probably on Gower. Up to the Gwyn tonight to catch up with everyone and see in the New Year. Happy New Year to you all. Let's get the whole family on to the blog in the New Year! Julian sends his greetings also. He's very pleased to have me home. He says the house is too quiet without my "bollockings". Love and hugs, Moo xxxxxx

Hi All
Congratulations Claire on getting the job you wanted. That's great news. Sorry to hear about Lucy, Marty. Hope she will be OK.
Just wanted to let you all know that Jules got home safely. I have just had a call from him. Didn't speak to him for long because his nephew was dragging him off to the pub! Will speak to him again when I return from Bathurst on Sunday.
Take care all.
Love Moo xxxx

Update good and not so good

Hi everyone
Good news today in that Claire has got a job with Darwin City library, Casuarina. handy because I'll be at Casuarina Senior College.

Bad news is Lucy has a tumor in her foot and probably will lose a leg though she wouldn't even know she was sick. We go to the vet tomorrow to have the bandage replaced and to canvas options.

Annie I'll get around to putting the girls on the blog soon.

It sounds like you have had a wonderful time together........Photos???

I was given a great send off at school last Friday. The boss even shed a bit of a tear. i have a copy of the speech she wrote........Think she might have mixed me up with someone else.

Have been a bit slack at looking at the blog lately after hassling you guys.

Moo enjoy the rest of your stay.

Cheers
Marty

Thanks everyone for a wonderful weekend at Cunj. Great game of trivial pursuit yesterday. I will put my recipe for hamburgers on the blog at some time in the future, probably after this week when I am finally on holidays and will have some spare time. We arrived home at 5.20pm three hours drive. Not bad. Will talk to you all soon. Marty, hope everything is going alright with the move.

Result: 1 big flatty 5 whiting which Kate, Annie and Moo will cook for dinner tonight.

Hi everyon

Kevin is now on the blog

Hello

Hello everyone
I hope you all get to have a play with this while Marty is down. It is an excellent format for quick conversations and the odd photo to share.
I'm off to work this morning, lots of mundane "library" chores to attend to before I leave ( if that ever happens!)
Have a glorious time together; thank-you again for the offer to join you. It is still a thought in progress!
Love Claire
p.s. no photo of a motorbike, aren't you proud of me :)

Hi again. This will probably be my last post if no-one is reading them except you Marty. We are now on the Coromandel peninsula, beautiful beaches and the beer is still cold. Only a few days left to enjoy the New Zealand scenery and weather. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the weekend. Until then, love & hugs, Moo & Jules xxxx

joining in

I rang mum and dad and they need me to help them get on. I haven't heard from the mountains or the sea mobs but I think it will all come together next weekend.
The other thing that happens is that after I send the email inviting people to join if they don't do it then a time limit stops them some how.

Hi All
We are now in Papamoa on the Bay of Plenty. Spent last night in Rotorua. We had our first (& hopefully last) rain overnight on Friday. Saturday continued a bit overcast but today, Sunday, has been magnificent. We will now be taking our time and heading to the Coromandel peninsula which is to the East of Auckland. Not far from there back to the airport next Saturday but a lot to keep us amused. Haven't got my lead to download photos and couldn't do it last week when I tried anyhow. You can see the snaps next weekend. We are due to land at 1820 on Saturday so should be at 39 by about 8p.m. Look forward to seeing everyone. Will probably post again before then anyway. Hope the olds are on now. What about the Mountain Isos and the coastal push - Jack? Kate? You are keeping quiet since you joined in Annie. I'll finish my beer now and help Jules cook the shellfish he collected today. Take it easy.
Love Moo & Jules xxxxx

I'll hassle the Olds

Hi Moo and Jules
I'm glad you're using this. I'm going to ring the olds and hassle them to get on. I was going to wait till next weekend and help them but I think it needs to happen sooner. I finished my last lot of year 12 moderation folders today. got up at 4 and have been flat out all day. I'll be in bed soon.
Hey how about some photos
cheers

Greetings from the Land of the Long White Cloud! What a beautiful country New Zealand is. The weather is glorious, the people friendly & the beer cold. We have seen a kiwi in the wild and experienced some magnificent views. Tonight we are in Waitangi where the treaty was signed. We were too late to give the site of the signing justice today so we will see it first thing tomorrow and then head on to Russell. This area is on the Bay of Islands. Beautiful! Jules is cooking dinner in our van as I write this. More next time. Love Moo & Jules xxxxx

Hi Guys

Hi Annie

Welcome to the blog. I'm no expert at this either but I think it could be fun. I'm not sure if I have to put the girls email addresses in as I think I might be the administrator. You have a go and if you can't put them in let me know. You have to send them an email from the blog to invite them. I think you click on the dashboard. Claire is actually the expert on this.
The other thing we can do is change the layout of the blog if you don't like this one.

I bought another francis barnett off ebay yesterday. Here are a couple of photos. I now have to get it here from Perth. It's probably a bit extravagant as I still have the gear box from my other FB in getting rebuilt.

Cheers

Marty

Hi all, I'm in too. when I work out how to do things like put photos in I'll send you a photo of our picture we got from Alice framed and hanging on the wall. See you all soon!! Is this suitable for our girls to go in because they have their own email.

Here is the Francis Barnett brochure that Moo sent to me. It's the one on the top.

Greetings

Hi All
Sounds like a fun idea to me. We will contribute. This will probably be our only entry until we hit New Zealand but it will be a good way to keep you all up to date with our travels. See you all soon. Moo & Jules xxxxx

This is a start

Hello everyone

I am trying a new idea which is obviously a family blog. The idea is that we share what is happening in our lives in another form other than email. I am new to this but at the moment I have set up the blog so only those I have invited (immediate family) can add to the blog but I think you can invite other people in. For example your kids may have a separate email and may wish to use it. Anyway lets have a go and see how it turns out.

I will upload some pictures because I am playing around. Mum remember that bike that sat in the shed for ages. Well thats the 250 that Mark used to get his license and I'm about to register again. This other bike is my OEC atlanta.
