And the visitors just keep coming

After Zak and Skinny we had Will for three weeks of trade school and another one of his mates for two weeks. Tomorrow night Claire's mum Shirley arrives for a week. Well.......Tjilpi???????

We love having visitors. It's a good excuse to do all the touristy things that you wouldn't do otherwise.

Buddy is growing......but not his brains.

Zak we cut down the dead mango. It was riddled with termites another perpetual hazard of the top end.

The weather is just starting to get that hint of humidity in it so the first showers shouldn't be far away.

Went fishing last weekend up a new creek I am exploring but with a 7 metre tide I ended up stranded behind a rock bar for a couple of hours. Lucky I had the aerogard.

Not much more to mention. Work is keeping me pretty busy. Ten hour days don't leave much time for anything else. However I have added a piccy from the science lab I teach out of. if you click on it to enlarge it you will see its another one of the low tides.
Love to you all

Only $50

Clare! Only $50 for you to be silent for 40 hours!
What a tremendous effort. You should have asked Grandma and me to contribute. The homeless people will be very proud of you.
You were such a hit in your musical that your mother is talking about you changing schools so you can take a leading role in her musical.

Liam, Moo never forgets and we all join in her Greetings to you.

Love to All Tjilpi.

Hi everyone

Hey,
Mum is bugging me saying i never write anything on the blog so i am posting this. I have just finished the forty hour famine, where i gave up talking for forty hours (very hard!) and raised $50 for homeless children overseas. I have also recently been in the orchestra for our school musical, The Sound Of Music, and completed six shows after three months of practice. It was really fun, more fun than being in the orchestra in year seven for Oliver, so i am trying to catch up on sleep after many late nights.
Talk to you all soon, hopefully.
Clare

Birthday Greetings to Liam from beautiful Wales. This is your birthday card from Jules and me. I have been working tonight and will be back in tomorrow so this was the easiest way to send birthday greetings. Hope you have a fabulous day. We are thinking of you.
Loads of love and hugs, Moo & Jules xxxxxx

NEWS from Kev

Rare Birds is the dress shop at Wentworth Falls run by Lindy, Sally and Jane Iso visited by Joan, Lady Kate, Aunty Kate and me on Friday August 7. Jane was tending the shop while Sally was at the Leura shop. Kate bought a pair of pink and white flowers slacks - quite dashing really. We then visited Lindy at her house which overlooks a gully and the Charles Darwin walk.

I attempted to put this blog up under the heading "Rare Birds" pressed the wrong button and the blog was posted with no text. (One day I will get the hang of these computers) I'll post a couple of photos of the day. Kate is standing outside the shop and inside with Jane. The sun was beaming into Lindy's place so she pulled down the shade but you can still see the bushy valley behind. The eight Ron Iso girls are having their girlie week at Geroa in October and have invited Kate down for it. I wonder will they have a rendering of "Chirpy, Chirpy, Cheep, Cheep" sometime for old times sake.
Best Wishes to all......Kev

A good joke

Ange Arrow sent me this joke and I thought I should share it.
Hope you get a laugh out of it.

I was in the pub yesterday when I suddenly realized I desperately needed to fart.
The music was really, really loud, so I timed my farts with the beat.
After a couple of songs, I started to feel better. I finished my pint and noticed that everybody was staring at me.
Then I suddenly remembered that I was listening to my iPod.

Hi All
Just a quick entry to say "hello". Hope everyone is well and happy. Great kilt Steve. I've been trying to get Jules into one for years but he won't be in it.
We finally have a bit of summer-ish weather here.
Had a leak from our toilet last week which showed itself by water dripping through the ceiling by the fireplace - just above where we have all our new wooden flooring for the room. Luckily, we noticed it early enough to prevent too much damage. The flooring was safe and we just now have a water mark on the ceiling. Could have been much worse if it had gone on overnight.
The birthday celebrations start at 1640 today as I was born at 0140 in Australia. If the weather holds, we are hoping to head off to West Wales after lunch to spend the evening and most of Tuesday by the beach. Have to be about in the morning for my usual champagne breakfast.
Happy Birthday to Me!
Enjoying the 4th test this week. Shame the Wallabies didn't do as well against the Springboks yesterday. The test at the Oval should be a good one.
Take care. Bye for now. xxxxxxxxxx

Party Weekend in the Capital

Who'd be surprised that we had a great time at "The Great Wedding" ? Nobody has sent us any pics of the beautiful bride and her groom, just ones trying to embarass us. So here's Annie playing it up for the camera with some other Kennedy girls - unusual ( ? ) and me dancing in my new party outfit with Jess, my niece.
cheers
Steve
