Well the trip to Roper was great but not many fish. it was a great chance to get away with the blokes and talk shit and drink. There were four of us and all up we only got ten fish. I did well though as I caught five of them. I won't bore you with the technicalities of why it was so hard to catch fish suffice to say "You should have been here last week."
We now have another new dog. I managed to track down the owners of bubbaganoush, she went home and so our search continued. We now have Buddy, a pup we rescued from PAWS who rehome dogs that have been mistreated. I had forgotten what it's like to have a pup, missing shoes, poos in not very appropriate places and just training to get everything right. I think he will grow up to be a good dog though a bit larger than our Lucy.
Will is here for trade school for two weeks which is great. We are going to watch some motorbike racing tomorrow and as it is a long weekend here we are going fishing on Monday (unless he is out too late checkin out the Darwin chicks).
I have a new role at work so I am not travelling as much the first half of the term but should be back into again soon. Claire is finally over her study and after 6 years who can blame her but the end is in sight so she is powering on regardless.
Mark has bought a unit in Alice, it settled last week. Not bad for a 22 year old.
Will try and not leave it so long next time.
