Hi All
Thanks for posting the Christmas list Kev.
It is six weeks today until Annie arrives in Wales for her first visit. The second toilet should be flushing by then!
The weather here over the weekend has been glorious. Hopefully it is the start of a fabulous summer. We need to keep our visitors warm.
Had an e-mail from Jack to confirm his & Fran's arrival date as well.
We are looking forward to all our visitors!
Jules and I went walking on The Gower yesterday. Had to make the most of the weather.
Jules is mowing Cynthia's lawn today. I should be painting a table we gave her but am not keen. We did a swap of outdoor furniture. We got the better deal.
I would like to get some things done in our back garden today. May make a start whilst Jules is away.
Time to get out in it.
Love to all. xxx

Welsh Greetings
The travel plans are going ahead on all fronts. The girls have booked and Jack & Fran are close to finalizing their plans. Very excited to have so many visitors on the way. Marty & Claire, do you have plans? May as well put that passport to use Marty.
All good here. A bit quiet on the work front but getting enough. Jules is busy getting the second toilet ready.
Two cases of "bubbles" delivered last week. Bought an alcohol fridge yesterday. It's all happening!
We were at Dylan Thomas's birthplace on Saturday to see a local band. They will be in Brown's Hotel in Laugharne when Kate & Annie are here so might have to factor that into our travels.
Weather is warming up and the days are lengthening. Wales is beautiful at this time of year. Hope it continues into July, August and September.
Better finish the dinner.

greetings from the south cost
Hi all,
What a lovely weekend Hasi and I had in Canberra with Annie and the girls.
A huge amount of eating, including second breakfast on Saturday, high tea at the Burberry Hotel, an Indian feast for Saturday dinner and brunch at the HA Ha on sunday morning, overlooking the Lake. As well as lots of Eurovision, and just hanging out with those lovelies, and of course Oscar and Brindie. (black tshirt still covered in dog hair after washing it. What are the tips for getting rid of dog hair on clothes??)
I really wasn't so impressed with Eurovision this year. Really seems to be losing its kitsch factor, and where the hell were the wind machines. Seldom a hair out of place, and motionless. This is not the Eurovision I know and love.
However we did have the novelty of score and comment cards this year, which were fun.
Also lovely to sit around the oven in the garden in the evening and sip champagne, celebrating finally, Annie and myself buying tickets to visit Moo this year!!
Today I'm planning to make some trousers. However I'm nervous about cutting into the beautiful, (and expensive) material I bought to make them, so keep getting side tracked with doing something else. This blog included.
Ok so I wil ltake the washing off the line and get started.
Drying washing is a hassle in winter. If you leave it on the line, for only a few minutes too long, then it is already damp
I'm not sure if its just dad and me usng windows ten on our computers, but it is a pain in the arse. A slight touch of something can change the font size from 100%, to 3335% and back to 50% in a few seconds. It dries me crazy.
Enough, washing in, and cut fabric...wish me luck
Love to all, Zak

greetings from the south coast
hi all,
A cool rainy Monday. Good day to warm up the sewing machine, and reduce that pile of fabric I have stacked up on the sunroom table.
Which would mean stop mucking round on the internet...1 thing just leads to another
Seems like the rain may be stopping long enough for me to get out and feed the chooks.
Looking forward to a Eurovision weekend with Annie!!
I'm thinking Russia has a good chance of winning, but Annie will be a better judge of that.
Not much else happening
Hope Wales is warming up for a beautiful summer in July!
Love to all, Zak
