Greetings from Wales

Hi All

We have just returned from a fabulous 5 days in North Wales. The weather was glorious and the op shops provided good merchandise. We also did something we have been wanting to do for a long time - we climbed Snowdon! What an achievement. We walked up the Rhyd ddu path (if anyone wants todo further research). This is a much steeper and, therefore, less populated track than the one from Llanberis that most people choose. I nearly gave up a few times, and Julian nearly went over the edge (Kate will understand why I was tempted to push him off. Memories of Llyn y fan fach). Getting to the top was worth it all however. The photo shows us on the summit. My calves are still recovering from the tortuous climb but should be OK for my gym class on Tuesday.
There are a few less squirrels in the garden since Julian has perfected his aim with the airgun. We are hoping that will help save the new birds that will hatch with the arrival of Spring. And Spring really has arrived. Time to get into the garden and enjoy it while it lasts.
Love to all. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
