Back to reality and school tomorrow. Steve's sister Jenny is off to England on Friday to see her new grand daughter. Thanks again Kate for a great weekend. Cunjurong wouldn't be the same without you. Love to all, Annie

hello from the capital
Just spent a fab weekend at Cunj!! Zac came as well as Michael and Tina. Spent most of the morning on the deck trying to see how many breakfasts we could eat in one sitting! Then off to to the beach for a few hours, back home for lunch, then back to the beach till the early evening. It is just heaven there! The lake has closed off. It is about 50-100 mtrs (I say 100, Steve says 50) from the end of the lake to the ocean. Hopefully it won't stay closed for too long, as the lake is already starting to get pretty dirty and a horrible colour. However, it is a little deeper than before, though still really shallow in some spots. Kate made me wade across in my shorts again, and we both had to take our shorts off and wade across to the boat ramp in our undies. Lucky it was 8.30am and no-one was around to see us walk up the road from the boat ramp in only our T-shirts and undies. Lucky mine was long! Went via the Nerriga road again, but found a better way in from Bungendore, this time with only 11kms of gravel. It now takes us under three hours to reach that end of the coast. Much more desirable than crawling up the Clyde on a holiday Monday. Marty, Steve reckons the new road would be great on bike- lots of winds and curves, and because there are not a lot of cars on the road, you could really open it up and let it fly!
