Hi All,
The excitement grows as the date approaches for Kate and Annie's visit.
We are making preparations here. Have been buying window coverings and new bedding. Having visitors is a good motivator to complete the things we have been meaning to do.
The big news is we have a flushing toilet downstairs! Yes, Jules has plumbed in the toilet. I bought a new seat for it as well. We now need the basin plumbed in so we can wash our hands as well.
The weather has been quite summer like. This week we are getting some rain but happy to have it now so that July/ Aug/Sept can be gorgeous for our visitors.
Work is a little on the slow side. I have had only one shift a week, but it gives me time to get things done in the house.
That's about it for now. Four weeks today Kate, Annie & I will be leaving London to return to Wales, but who's counting!
